Our projects seek to encourage self-management and self-sustainability initiatives to encourage the development of an institution-wide work model that is sustainable and substantial.
The necessity of creating new projects, looking for financing, and implementing them not only helps the local development of the different communities we support, but also the sustainability of the foundation.
For that reason, we are always formulating new projects that contribute to the development of the communities as well as the institutional strength of FUNDAHMER. New projects are created and distributed within the 4 programs areas: Education, Human Development, Solidarity, and Self-Sustainability.
The reason for our existence is in the base communities. Given this, our work with them always maintains a spirit of solidarity and Christian inspiration, as does our implementation of human development projects. We work together with poor communities to create strong relationships that reflect gender equality and are in balance with our environment.
This does not diminish the importance of the contribution and solidarity of sister communities, development and social institutions, friends, individuals, and others who support us in the financing of these projects that contribute towards developing our communities, which are some of the poorest in El Salvador.
